Was out walking around looking for pigs in my crocs,  but this girl popped out at dusk and changed my plans.  Easy trail,  but went back to the house to get the dogs for some easy tracking work.   This may be the last track for this old guy.  Sweet  pup, and a great tracker back in his day.

Not too big,  but lost the meat from my last doe when one of the freezers died, so I was happy to take her.   Maybe another buck before the end of this season. We will see.  Same old TallTines Stickflinger and VPA 3 blades.

Man I'm glad it's not just me with the crocs.  Although grass burrs can be hell with them.
Congratulations on a good kill!
I can afford to shoot most any bow I like.  And I like Primal Tech bows.

Is that bow getting tired yet?

No crocs around here. they don't do well in 25 degree weather.

Well done indeed sir, some fine table fare there.

Crocs are the best bowhunting footware I've found, plenty of "feel", and easy to slip out of for the final close-in. Although our plentyfull Bullants and Jack jumpers  (like fire ants, maybe worse) means I don't wear them very often

Good hunting to you all.
May the wind be your friend, and may your arrows fly true,
Most of all, may the appreciation and the gratitude of what we do keep us humble......
