Just acquired some Tuff Head Meathead BH and have never played with single bevel heads.  Asking for best sharpening method and experiences shooting these big heads.

Horsehide

Just run the bevel onto wet/dry sandpaper from 320 to 1500 or so. Clean the backside of the bevel to remove the wire edge. Apply to hog of your choice. Repeat if necessary.  :biglaugh:
Some people insist on matching the bevel orientation to their feathers'.
It can't hurt, but I have not seen any real study about the performance increase.
I have shot single bevels for years and even sharpen the left bevel on my Ribteks.

Thanks Chris.  Think I'll try a ceramic stick to put an edge on the bevel and put a couple through pigs.  With adapters they come in at 225ish grains and should fly well on some 340 carbon arrows, that will be a good set-up to poke some pork.  May even try one on some Hickory for giggles.
