Both look like great quivers each having advatanges and disadvantages. I really like how the thunderhorn fits tighter to the bow but i like the double wrap connection of the selway.  Has anyone used both that could compare the two? Or reasons you may not have liked one or the other.

I have both and much prefer the Thunderhorn.

I've had both...the thunderhorn would not stay put the selway does...that said I prefer a great northern...ymmv!

I've had both and now only use the Thunderhorn.

I have the selway quick release and the eagle's flight strap on. The eagle's flight is lighter and has a smaller hood. Selway feels heavier and more time to take off if you remove them for shooting. Also can lose the nut and washer if up in a tree. Eagle's flight are nice and price is right.

I run GN and Thunderhorn on all my bows.

Great Northern is my preference, Thunderhorn was and would be my preferred quiver as a second choice.

  I've had nearly every bow quiver mentioned already and All are great quivers but my bows as of now are carrying  Thunderhorn Small frys just cause I can switch them in a few seconds without unstringing the bow. I also have some Slim Jim quivers made by John Dill and a EFA 3 arrow quiver as well. I am also glad to see there are so many choices to choose from .Had a few Great Northern quivers as well.

I have a Thunderhorn lynx and have never had any issues with it moving. I've used it on multiple bows. It's a great quiver

I have three Thunderhorns and before them had Selway and GN.  Only have Thunderhorns now.  They stay put just fine.

I prefer the Selway strap-on.  It is rock solid and light weight

I like my Great Northern quiver best of the four I own.  It is well constructed, fairly light, stays put on the bow, holds arrows securely and the top & bottom stay together when I remove it from the bow.  Big Jim's, Selway, Thunderhorn and Great Northern all work dependably - just prefer the Great Northern.

I'd say use whichever quiver mounts well and stays put.

All Thunderhorn for me.  I like the looks and the functionality.  I have small fry and std in Boa and screw on.

I'm using the Thunderhorn Small Fry strap-on with my Blacktail and Widow and really like them.

Great Northern and Selway . On the Thunderhorns if you roll on a castration band against the straps the quivers never slide up the limb even in cold weather .

Never had a Selway strap on.They have not been around as some of their other designs.I know guys that use them and like them.

Probably had 5 Thunderhorn strap ons.Mostly the small size hood and had the lynx strap on with the bar that attaches botton to the top for a more integral unit.They work well,are sweet looking and the quality is thier.

I have been using the Selway slide on.On 3 bows lately with the mini sized rawhide hood.I like the mini hood and its the most solid fitting system you can get and its very quiet!But its not a strap on.I leave em on the bow most of the time.So its no big deal for me.I got a longbow,hybrid and recurve model in that quiver.Which may be a drawback in that strap ons typically fit any style bow.

Thunderhorn strap on for me. It's solid, fits tight, big Grizzly heads fit perfectly without any extra room in the foam or the heads sticking out any, the hood is lined with plastic to prevent punch throughs, the QD straps are quick/easy/silent to operate, and they can do custom colors and exotic skins to suit your preference. I had my hood color matched to my cocobolo riser and a black beavertail inlay to match my beavertail grip. It looks outstanding and functions even better.

I saw thunderhorn has a "thin blue line" line of quivers. I will send them some patches and see if they can do me up a brown and tan leather for my 18 years as a deputy. Have them sew me up a matching arm guard and see if they can stamp a police bible verse in it.

I have had both and both are good quivers.  That being said, I run Great Northern QD for limb bolt style and  EFA for my strap on style.  My biggest complaint with Thunderhorn is they don't offer different size grippers. I like to run FMJs on some of my set ups and really dislike the rubber band to adjust for arrow size. It's sort of like wearing 2 pairs of pants to get the outer ones to fit you. I don't have any idea why they don't offer a size option?   They are a very nice quiver and probably the best looking quiver made.
