Looking forward to more pics! I have a soft spot for green glass (been mulling over getting or making a bubinga riser/green glass bow), but I've been curious as to how a green dyed white wood would look under clear glass (especially something like curly or birdseye maple).
Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.

This is edge grain (vertical) Hard rock Maple, This is what you should use

That some good looking riser wood.

I like to use Shellac  to find my fine sanding marks and this wood bleeds over to the lite woods.
Kind of a pain but looks good.

Man, I always hated that the worst when you peel the tape and see streaks.

That's why I quit stocking clear Gordons, but I hear it's better now.

It seems to go in cycles ,good awhile , then streaks.

I only have some .040 and .050 in 1.5"  for a bowyer who wants Gordon's (or anybody else who wants it)
Stay sharp, Kenny.

I dont think whatever the glass it is not gonna be perfect. I have not seen any BP even close to some of the Gordons before this last that is supposedly better. The BP seems to not be as clear as it was first but nothing near as bad as the old Gordons. For the price difference I am sticking with BP.

That really nice Mark, you nailed Robin Hood green!
That riser is a beauty
