Thought I'd share this photo my wife took of me shooting my Misty Dawn one winter evening a couple of years ago.

Great picture Chuck. Your tough shooting into the sun like that. Like the ski tracks, just a great picture all around.

In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

Ok that makes more sense. When I read the title of the thread I thought maybe someone sent their Misty dawn to Nate Steen for a refinish lol

Thanks for the comments.

Terry: There was enough of an angle between the bales and the sun that it wasn't a problem. The biggest challenge was the cool temps!

Wondering if you're shooting from your xx-skis?  Noticed the ski tracks, but no foot prints.  Either way - Cool Photo!

Practice - Practice - Practice - Beer.  Works for me . . .

Not on skis. My wife does most of that. I might do it more if it was a bit more interesting. Maybe I should place a few targets around the loop she sets and do some shooting that way. Might have to fire up the metal detector to recover any misses, though!

David: Never thought about that angle when I gave my post that title!
