Nov 9th this buck came into my mock scrape at 6:45am. Nose down in scrape I could hear him breathing in the scent. Then he proceeds to the hanging scrape stick and licks and face rubs it for over a minute. The word pass changed to shoot. As he walks by at 13 yards i bury the Woodsman into his shoulder. He only half runs 20 yards and braces himself a minute before collapsing. From my tree I can see the blood trail leading up to him. The Woodsman I pulled on the mill bastard file and finished with 600 and 400 grit wet sandpaper really did its job. Thankful for a good harvest.

Man that's a nice buck. Sounds like a perfect shot.

Congratulations on the nice buck!  They seem to be gooing pretty food here in the north woods of Wisconsin.  Now if this rain would stop so I can get back out there.

DeCurry

Congratulations! Well done.

Fine looking buck and good shot, I noticed a 66" recurve-what make bow is that ?
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

Bisch

Awesome buck!

Congrats!

The 66" bow is a take off of a Brackenberry. Found it at a summer shoot with our last name on it. It was my brothers favorite bow, he shot many deer with it. It still has his mojo in it.

GCook

He's a good one.  A sharp broadhead in the right spot will put them down quick.  Looks like you held up your end just fine.
I can afford to shoot most any bow I like.  And I like Primal Tech bows.
