I went and did a cheapie on amazon and got a look alike set of dirt naps. The blades needed sharpening so I tried unscrewing the retention screws. The threads stripped on removal they were so poorly made. I am attempting to return them for arefund. But....I am looking for a fixed 2 blade head that won't break my social security check that weigh 125 grains and are resharpenable. I have a Gatco/Lansky style sharpening jig. I wanted to use a 3 blade head and had some 100 grain heads that fly unbelievably well but are short trunked like the montecs. My 40 lb. bow will likely need help with penetration so I am planning on a 2 blade. Any ideas other than praying to stumble across a 6 pack of old Bear Razorheads?

If you were looking for 125 grain glue on broadheads I could help you out.  Have you thought about placing an ad in the classifieds?

I don't know much about 125 screw ins, never use them, not enough hardware for me.

Thanks to all. I just had a bad enuff case of sticker shock that I about poo'ed my linen! I let the "el cheapo" solution bite me in the heinie. Anyhow....after investigating I decided on Tusker 1w5 grain screw ins. Very like the Zwickeys except the weights are accurate. Thanks for the help and letting me vent!

I have a group of Eskimos, new and used, that I listed or trade on another site and just for fun I weighed them.  They do vary a few grains but then so do your arrows.  If arrow spine is consistent, a bit of weigh variation doesn't matter.
If shooters only knew how much their carbn arrows varied in spine, they would be shocked.
One of the reasons I prefer aluminum.

Winner winner chicken dinner as the saying goes.  Spine consistency is more important than weight consistency (within reason).  And one brand of popular carbons in particular is abysmal at spine consistency.  They should all be marked "blems" IMO.

Manufacturers know many archers will weigh their shafts, but almost none will spine test them.
