I'm not adding any extra, but I have a little wiggle room if needed. My flats will be about 1" longer than needed.
But I am planning on letting my tips run extra long just in case.

Got all the jewelry put in my form and made a sled for cutting limb pads on riser block.

Getting closer......but still got a lot of stuff to do before I get anywhere near building a bow.

Good luck Bvas... Hope she works out well for you...

I'm fiddling with an asymmetrical riser design for my 62" RD.

Started prepping a couple  riser blocks for the TD. Still got to get my drilling jig made and get lams from Kenny, but things are slowly moving along.

Hi Mad Max,In the past I only made bows shaped like hill-hype and it's my first time trying to make a bow shaped like RD. :)

Nice looking work Keyang!  And welcome to the bowyers bench. We really do have people from all over the world on here. It's pretty awesome that this somewhat obscure pursuit finds passionate adherents from all over the globe!

Mad Max

Not a Hill style fan myself, but it looks good and you shop look nice too

That's a looker Bob...

Not to be negative...  But you can keep them boxes...  I just use an electric blanket now and never looked back...   I bring it up to 110 to 120 degrees which is plenty to cure epoxy...  Fold it up and takes very little space...  I use the hot box as a kiln now...

Monterey. I use an asymetrical design, I find it easier to shape handle that way.

monterey

I like the looks of yours Bue.  Mine might end up a little less suave than yours. :)

Looky what I came across today...  Been kinda wanting one of these for a while...  Anything to help cut my sanding time down...  Offered him $10 and he took it...  Motor runs...  Might need some tweaking...
I'll make a nice granite table for the disc with a fine grit paper on it to do certain jobs...
