Hi friends. We wanted you to hear it directly from us, beginning Oct. 1, 2020 we will be distributing print magazines by subscription or direct sales only. You can read T. J.'s editorial that is coming out in the Aug/Sep 2020 issue at https://tradbow.com/changes-at-traditional-bowhunter/.

Hopefully, this won't affect many of you who are already subscribers. And to those who have been buying it at the store, we appreciate your support at the newsstand and hope that you will find a subscription to be faster, easier and less expensive. Single copies will also be available directly from us if a subscription is not your thing.

Assuming stores are open and carrying TBM you should find the Aug/Sep issue in mid-July, and the Oct/Nov issue in mid-September. That will be the last newsstand issue, but you have plenty of time to subscribe, and you can do that at https://tradbow.com/product/print-subscriptions. Current subscribers can look for a new issue in the mail over the next two weeks.

We assure you that the only thing changing at TBM is our means of delivery. We have plans for new columns, as well as the great content you have always enjoyed. We appreciate your support and hope that you will help us spread the word to your friends who buy Traditional Bowhunter Magazine off the newsstand.

Thanks,
TBM Staff

Well, this won't affect me.  I have been a subscriber since before the very first issue came out. I believe I signed up at the GLLI shoot when it was at Marshall, MI.  I look forward to every issue and have to pace myself so I don't read it all too soon and have to wait for the next issue!  I read every story, readers' letters, etc.  Love it.  :archer:

By far my ALL TIME FAVORITE BOWHUNTING MAGAZINE. Like Dave Mitchell,  I am a long time  subscriber and take my time reading each issue  and looking forward  to the next one.  Well done TBM for years of enjoyable reading. Thank you much.

Just "re-upped" for another three years so like others here, this won't affect me. Regardless, thanks for the notice. I have a buddy getting in to the single string lifestyle and I told him to grab a copy off the rack at the store. I'll let him know of the change coming down the pike!

I like looking before I buy, some issues I pass on because the content is not up to par. Subscriptions take the choice away, guess I'll find something new to read.

Thanks for your comment. I'm sure others might be thinking the same thing. Single copies will also be available, and our website will list the table of contents and three sample articles (of our choosing). Not quite the same as flipping the pages at the store, but you can check it out without buying a subscription. I'll post here in TradGang when each new issue is available for sale as a single copy.

OK by me. Been a subscriber for quite some time now.

Sorry to hear that. I too look through it before I buy. Like the hunting stories but have been building  my own stuff for a while so usually ignore the "how to" articles.  Im usually about 50/50 in buying. Sad to see it go from the stores...........
