I'm puzzled by this one. I'm using the same arrow shafts, CX 350's  ( ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THE AGE OF THE SHAFTS) , same tip weight, same arrow length, same feathers and style of feathers, and there is a 27 gr difference in the shafts. How?
Was there a difference in who possibly manufactured the shafts from back 15/17 years ago to who is manufactured them 5 years ago?

Just curious was the inserts already glued on both sets or did you do all insert installs and nocks? Could be just a difference in insert or nock weights is my guess.

I did all the inserts myself . I buy raw shafts

I believe the newer shafts are a lower gpi than the old ones by almost 1 gpi.
I had a really good group going... until I shot the second arrow.

My best bows are the ones someone else didn't want.

Carbons made by most companies will get a difference in weight maybe spine every few years because how they are made.

Easton says the ones they make here in the USA don't change in weight or spine weather you buy now or .5+ ago.

I'm guessing its been 5-7 years ago that Carbon Express changed their Heritage shafts. I know there was a slight change in the spine; not sure about the gpi though.
