I made some progress and the handle(s). Did some crazy things to with a router and the handrail on my balcony. Definitely not the best way to shape flares. Here was my setup :

Novel way of doing it!. Looks like a plan!.

Well I agree 100%. I won't do it again. To stressful and not precise enough with this setup.
I guess I just needed my own experience with it!

I received my swap bow from BO-R this past Wednesday. I'm am very pleased to say the least. How did he know I've had recurves on my mind? :biglaugh: This bow is 62" NTN, 50#@28". I put a couple silencers on the string, eyeballed a knock set, and started putting some arrows through her. I have to say she's extremely easy to shoot very quiet and accurate.

Thank you BO-R! I'm extremely happy with this bow and can't wait to carry this thing to the woods this fall.

As for my swap bow, I glued my riser up this afternoon. I hope to get the limbs mounted on the riser by tomorrow afternoon and get them ready to profile.
Here is a full draw pic of my swap bow.
