Great shooting G.R.  You just posted the highest score to date and are currently in the lead for this week.

Very windy here today, so I figured I hunt in the wind so why not shoot for score: an 8, a 6, and a 4.

Then the super slow sitting shot: a line-cutting 10

Maybe I should shoot slower all of the time.

Ok,
Seeing I'm living up to my somewhat computer illiterate skills, and cannot seem to print the target,  I've drawn up one using the sizes Evan kindly posted back at my request.

Is everyone happy for me to use this so I can join in and play along?

Good hunting to you all.
May the wind be your friend, and may your arrows fly true,
Most of all, may the appreciation and the gratitude of what we do keep us humble......

Hi Lex,  Your target looks great. Please join in on the fun. I hope you keep those pretty arrows of yours in the 10-Ring.

As for the rest of the group, who would be interested in changing the target either each week or every so often?  I'm on the fence about it because I'm not too tech savvy and generally like a keep it simple approach.  That said, if someone wants to volunteer their target designs, please feel free.  Perhaps the high scorer for the week gets to decide on the next target?

Sounds good to me. Different targets, different distances, as long as everyone does the same shot it's all good and fair.

This week's score is an 18. I shot without warming up, using 24-year-old aluminum arrows that I recently refletched. I forgot how much I love aluminum arrows.  They will be making their way back into my quiver for sure.

For the bonus shot, I sat on a 5-gallon bucket and barely snuck one in the 6-ring.

For next week, I think I found our new target...

Now for my slow draw shot.

My dad had a saying....

Sweet!!

If the weather is co-operative today, I'll try to shoot three of "those pretty arrows"  :biglaugh:  somewhere into those target rings.

Alrighty

Just picked a break in the weather, pinned up the target, walked back to 15 meters, and shot a 10 and two 8's, for a total of 26

And my sloowwww one off the seat (a 5 gallon bucket that gave me a wet butt 😁), and managed to plunk another 8

Pretty happy with that actually.

This is a bit of fun, more pressure than I first thought though.

Good shooting gents. Work has been nuts forgot to print my target last night. I'll be back in next week.

Your three shot score cracked two lines. Seems like a 4 6 10 to me. Good shooting.

G.R.

So, I guess I'm high score for week #3. So I think it's up to me to call this weeks (week#4) target. Lets use the same target and shoot the same 3 arrow group but this time add up your score from the three arrow group and subtract it from 30,low score wins. Bonus shot, 1 arrow from 20yds sitting.

Good Luck to All.
G.R.

Been trying to crawl down for a 15 yard point on but decided today to use my 20 yard hold a bit low. Seemed to work well. Also have been shooting lighter arrows in anticipation of shooting more 3D's this year. Corona Virus put a stop to that.

Just trying to work out the posting issues, this is a test group 2315 (top) and 2413.
