A new and innovative technology to build a take down ??

I needed some brown paper for "micarta". These are my used coffee filters, they wash up real nice and filter paper makes real good material. I did this once before and it worked good. I just can't bring myself to use new paper when I just throw this stuff away. And I'm really cheap :goldtooth:

Heap big coffee maker!!  :o

I cut some fabulous zebra lams from a board a feller sent me.  Too bad it had a couple cracks in it.

I won't post any pics til he sees it.
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Coffee has Trigonelline in it, and it breaks down adhesives over time.

Mark, I washed the paper with dish soap and rinsed well. Filter paper is amazingly tough and it absorbs epoxy better than any other paper I have used. The used filter paper I used previously is holding up good. I have not noticed any degradation and that was at least 3 years ago.

Bue, I caught a bug.  I think the medical term for it is obessivecompulsivebowyerosis.  I musta breathed it in when I opened a package from Missouri.

Hanging that paper under the pine tree had to help adhesion with sap dripping on it.  :bigsmyl:

I wish the sap was running! I'm ready for spring.
Now that it's dry, I have to iron out the wrinkles. Have to use steam or it sears the fibers and they don't absorb as well. Their is an art to being a cheap-a$$ :saywhat:
