Bob happened to update his "in Stock" page on his website and looky-there!!, what do I see?? A Cheyenne "A" riser in Wenge with an Osage flare with full pinecones!!!!!!!! Next I went to his limb section and low and behold I see a set of Dark Honey boo "C" limbs 55#@28"!!Almost like the good Lord was a sendin me a sign!

So I call Bob up and ask him if he still has them both, and sure enough he did! Next I ask,..."hey Bob...what would a set of Copperheads run me to have put on those limbs??" He tells me the price and that he has them in stock as well! Next I ask..."Hey Bob,...how long would it take to put those Copperheads on?" He says ,"Oh I can have them put on today, and finished and off in the mail to ya next week."

Oh man it was all just TOO perfect if ya know what I mean!! So I let'er rip and now I will be the new owner of a sweet little 58" Morrison Cheyenne. I'm still shaking right now as I right this, as it all happened so fast. I couldn't stop myself! I think alot of the shaking has to do with me trying to figure out how I'm going to tell my wife that I just spent a nice chunk of change on yet another bow, that in her opinion I obviously DON'T need!!

I keep reminding myself that you guys are always saying, that it is easier to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission! But fellas I'm man enough to admit here before all my fellow TG bros. that....I'M SCAAARRREEDDD!!

Guess I better get to church now and ask God to give my wife the inner strength to forgive me fer what I done and for me to have the strength to take my punishment like a MAN!!LOL

Just wanted to share my exciting morning with you all.

Priorities!!! just like the song says man i'm gonna miss her, I just gotta bite!

Killdeer

I was just poking around there this morning, and that is a sweet looking riser! Congratulations, and good luck with your wife.

Me, I get no hassles from my husband on bows or guns. If he notices a new one, which is rare, he never asks the price. I figure he figures it to be a retirement plan, especially if I croak out first! (He should be so lucky!  :biglaugh: )

And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Don't be shootin to high over them hogs as you will be shootin from the cloud you are now on. Good hunting and have fun with your new bow.

Thanks guys! She is certainly a good lookin riser, and once them Copperheads get put on those limbs it's gonna be the icing on the cake.

I new I should have ignored JC's praise of Bob's bows everytime I saw a thread about a Morrison Cheyenne...but his words just echoed in my head when I saw that riser and those limbs at the perfect weight and draw!! Dang it JC I might have to direct my wife's attention and comments to you when the dung hits the fan. I figure you being the "Morrison man" and all,...I could maybe borrow a few of your excuses as to why I just had to buy one!!LOL

JDS3...I will try and get pics up after I get back from my hunt.

Walter Mauney

I just got my Cheyenne limbs a few days ago and they are very smooth and quick.

You will love to shoot it!!!!!
Yours truly,
Walter

Deer Slayer

Walter...what riser and limb set-up do you have if you don't mind me asking??

Walter Mauney

Mine is kind of plain looking compared to yours, but it still looks nice.

B riser with medium grip made of walnut diamondwood.

B limbs that match the riser in color. They are  55# at 27". It comes out to be a 58" AMO length.
Yours truly,
Walter

Deer Slayer

Thats ok Walter, pretty is as pretty does. I just happened to see that riser and decided to splurge.

Hhhmm my setup is pretty close only different riser and limb length combo, "A" riser and "C" limbs...same AMO of 58" Poundage on mine is 55# @ 28" which is my actual draw length. How do you like the way yours shoots?

Anyone else out there have the Cheyenne "A" riser and "C" combo setup  and have any feedback on what they like or dislike about it??

T.A.C.

Deer Slayer,
I just did the same thing today. Got the Cheyenne "A" riser in cocobolo with "C" limbs, honey, (54#@28") and also had him put on copperhead skins. I had sent an order form with essentially the same thing on friday, saw Bob's post about updating the instock stuff and went for it! WHOA! It sure beats an 8-10 month wait! It'll be a long week. Good luck with yours!
Terry

Deer Slayer

Cool deal Terry! I love Coco risers. Saw the riser you are getting and it looks real nice man, Congrats! That would have been my second choice.

And you are right about the wait!!! We SCORED! Those Copperheads are gonna really set our bows off. can't wait. We will have to post pics when we get them! Best of luck to you with yours as well bud!
