Looking good, Bully!

Nice shape on the grip and I love the green glass.

Thanks y'all.
OkKeith, the glass isn't green.  He dyed the lams (curly maple) green for me.

That is going to look fantastic, Bully!

I bet the dyed grain gives a good "camo" pattern. Take your time so that it turns out well... but hurry a little so we can see it.  :bigsmyl:

I'm doing my best.

Hoping to have the handle wrap leather by next week.  Otherwise she's pretty much done.  [attachment=1]

Went through some old stuff today and found 11 of these old Bear glassfiber hunting arrows. Some nasty broadheads.
They are marked Kodiak .411 supreme.

I had some of those back around '71.  They were marked 409.  Flew nicely but they had a tendency to split on the tips.  Didn't take much to split em.  Still have a few in a box somewhere.

Are you going to use them?

Cool find Bue
I like those old fiberglass shafts. Some of them had some heft to them.

Buemaker

No, I am not going to use them. Bowhunting is not allowed here in Norway.
I guess I could try them with field points.

I planted a little food plot down in the woods about 50 yards from my deck. I put an electric fence around it to keep the deer out of it until the wheat gets about a foot tall. Without the fence the deer will pull up the seedlings roots and all as soon as it comes up and leave bare ground.

monterey

hmmm... fifty yards would be too long a shot for me!  :)
