I have been spending a bit of time scouting for moose and fall black bear. I like to carry this new yew selfbow I just finished. Still has that new bow smell. Anyway my dog flushed up a group of grouse and I was able to tag a few. Lost one arrow and the other landed in a tree Just perfect. Rubber blunts do a number on a grouse at 10-15 yards!
Yew static tip 62lbs at 28. POC shafts with 135gn rubber blunts.

Chili for dinner.

The satisfaction of using your self-built bow has got to make that supper even tastier. Nicely done!
