Looking for my old Border Black Douglas

Hi All,
Long, long time no see...
I've been away a while, but back into archery (and teaching a beginners weekly league).

Anyway, that got me nostalgic, and I'm wondering where my old Border ended up.
I believe it was the longest riser series with yew and shedua and XP30 limbs.
I got it from Sid, re-shaped the riser myself, and refinished it.  (The pic is when I was
working on it.  I think Sid wanted to kill me!)
Then, of course, I started wheeling a dealing and passed it on.

I'd sure like to see where that one ended up and if it's still being loved.  I have some
old emails and messages about following it's sale, but they're about 10 years old.

Thanks!

Border is selling much better riser now for the black Douglas : the DX and you can order them with lower wrist like yours in the pics. XP 30 are long gone and Border took the "super Recurve" turn with radical hooks in limbs, like their actual HEX 8 's
That design doesn't t fit all and instead of loosing customer jumping off the Super Curve boat ( like me) they now sell the CV-X limbs with a more "conventional" feel and look.
Those limbs are really wonderfull, extremely stable, easy to get quiet and way more faster than the " conventional" limbs competition with 194 fps for 10 gpp at 28" on a shooting machine for mine (66"/19" riser BD). As a landmark on the exact same chrony and shooting machine protocol a 64" Black widow PMA is 174 fps and a 64" FF Schaffer silvertip 180 fps.

Thank you much for the info.  I've looked at some of their newer products.  There's just a few bows that I used to own that I sometimes wonder where they went, and that Border is at the top of the list.  I'd just like to find out where it ended up.
Have a good one!
