Anybody know of decent hog hunting around St. Augustine, FL?

blacktailbob

Anywhere along the St. Johns will have hogs. A lot of mgt areas allow hogs during their small game seasons as well as during archery seasons etc. Right NOW, you'll have to find private lands. Most in Florida now are lease lands.

With a 1000 people a day moving to Florida, lands are getting scare and what there is, is usually crowded. Down in Palm Bay people are crying because pigs are tearing up their pretty lawns. Boo Hoo

One week left to put in for the quota hunts.

If the hogs are the problem they claim they are the state should have way more liberal hunting opportunities.
Limited drawing months before an allowed short hunting season is ridiculous.

Check the fwc web sight , we have managment areas that have hog hunts down south in the summer . There Probably are some areas up there also .  Crazy but you do not need a hunting pic for hog but u need to have a managment stamp .
