Messing with Old Bows

It's that time of year again, when I start taking some of my old bows to my knife grinder.  Here is a cool old Hit Huntsman 56" 42#@28 recurve.  The neat thing about the Huntsman is the tip overlays and riser overlay are made from Mother of Pearl.  The thing I've never liked about them is how fat the grip is.  Plus I prefer the feel of a longbow type grip.  The top bow has the grip re-worked to my liking.  The weight is just fine so I don't need to reduce any pounds.  The bottom Huntsman is just the normal grip...tippit
