Yes... It is Sheoak...  Here is a pic of a riser with some heartwood...  The wood varies in color... From blonde to browns and darker with red in it...

It is pretty wood for a riser, with the red undertones it goes good with that glass you chose there Shreedy !

I got a big package from kenny it included these riser blocks the wildfire , its very cool, cant wait to try it & coffee got enough material hanging around to make about 50 bows just no time this summer !

Ok gonna make a 56 in.on the next one of these bows. Everything else being the same with the .004 taper limb 2 in. Shorter how much will I gain lbs.
