I shoot a 73# at 28 HOWARD HILL big five but i only draw 26 inches though i want to shoot 180 grain broad heads what spined hard wood shafts should i shoot i know ill have to go with a heaver spine shaft and should i stay around the 700 grain range with arrow weight

get em close that why i hunt with a longbow

Bjorn

Let's assume a 28" BOP arrow and D97 string; I would say a spine of 90-95 with the 180 gr head. In the case of Dacron a spine of 80-85 should work with that set up. 700 grain arrow would be my choice.

Carbon Caster

I would think a 70-75# spine hardwood shaft cut between 27-28" would fit the bill nicely.  If you were shooting a centercut longbow, I would recommend closer to what Bjorn told you, but I think they would be WAY too stiff for your bow.  Your resluts may vary.
Gen 27:3  "Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison;"
