Well another semester of college is down and I realized that I have been real bad a keeping the tradgang family up to date with how things are going archery wise. Sorry I left ya hanging guys.

It's tough. I just finished the semester this past Friday. You need to build some TradGang time into your study schedule like I do. You'll be amazed how it cuts down on your productivity :biglaugh:

Trenton I might just have to take that advice. Sometimes I think I could use a little less productivity to preserbe my sanity lol

We all do. Life is too fast. Need to slow it down and enjoy it.

Some of these comments remind me just how much I don't miss college, but I'm sure glad I stuck it out both times.

People ask me what I went to college for. Best answer I can give is "for fun".

You have to study and do good but it's not healthy if you don't make time for fun/relaxation.

Welcome back

The kids going to the church funded college here seem to have a lot of free time on their hands.  I thought going to classes was tedious, so i tested out on as many as i could.

WHAT?  I was supposed to study during those 4 years at Central Michigan University.  Man, it was the early '70s, with long hair (gone now), 6 pak abs (a keg now), eying the pretty ladies (married w/ glasses/blinders now), partying like there was no tomorrow (happy to wake up tomorrow now), liberal game bag limits (happy to fill my tags now) and plenty of OTC drugs (too many prescriptions now).  I tell folks that CMU gave me a diploma just to get me out of Mt. Pleasant.  Way too much fun!

Enjoy those college years . . . you'll be glad you did!  All things in moderation.

I really enjoy college. Yeah it's a lot of work, but it pays off in the long run. Besides, you get to meet lots of people with similar interests as you, go explore new areas, goof around in the weekends, etc. I'll admit that I probably goof around a little more than I ought to sometimes, but for the most part I keep a pretty good balance.

Never went to College. Had to make money, no time to waste. But, man it was a tough slog.

Enjoy your time in college! I enjoyed mine, maybe a little too much at times  :biglaugh: Always remember that any education will cost you something be it time, money or both but what you put into your brain is one of the very few things no one can take from you in life. Best wishes in your studies!

I had more free time in college (undergrad) than anytime since then.  Once work & family started, my time was always somebody else's.  Making some business changes over the last few years has put me closer to that than ever before but it still pales in comparison.  I wouldn't ever choose to go back and relive those days again -- being dependent on family support, low-pay seasonal jobs, maintaining high grades to keep my scholarships, etc.  But they were among the most fun and free 4 years of my life.  Enjoy it.
