The bees don't just make a hole, they make a hole and take a right hand turn and may go several feet down a timber, then the woodpeckers go after the larva that the bee left in the tunnel and you end up with structurally compromised wood.

You guys put any type of bait or attractant in the jar?

Crooked Stic

Put you picture in there Roy then they for sure wanna get in and sting you  LOL

Making a new form My mom and pops hardware store been bought out. Used to get  plywood custom cut. Not now though. So at Menards they got these ACX handi panels. 2x4. They measure exactly .750 += .010. So.I got two of them.I cut mine in half. For bandsawing. So they work well.

No bait, the bees curiosity brings them in.

Nice Jeff!
That one is very stylish and it's got some sexy curves

Bvas

That looks great Jeff.
I would recommend grain filling. You've put this much work in the bow....why rush now?  If you haven't yet, try grain filling with super glue. It is quick and easy sanding.
Some hunt to survive; some survive to hunt

Thanks Guys!...I think I will try the super glue :shaka:

Yeah, and what's with the cloud of smoke?  Get hit by lightning?  Apparently the odds of a lightning strike go way high when ya get old.

May have found a solution to removing the oscillation from a  Rigid sander
