I've been somewhat silent since my radiation treatments ended last month on the 19th cause I had to wait till THIS month (15th) for a FIRST (in a series 3 mos apart) of PSA tests to see if the Radiation Treatments were successful...

They told me to expect results on Thursday... I get a call today from that Doctor's office telling me that the results were in already...

They said it was "normal"...the gal who often calls with test results is something of a "dufus" so I asked for some #s... then she tells me it was 1.57.  PRAISE GOD!!!  prior to treatment, at my last annual physical it went from last year's results of
2.X to 5.55 this year and 30 days laterat the UROLOGIST's, it'd jumped to 7.78... now after treatments (weren't no TREAT to em for ME), the PSA registers 1.57 and I'm told things should continue to drop over time some...

There still be some hiccups of after affects, but it would appear the cancer has abated

Thanks to all the warriors who have PM'd and emailed and kept in touch wishing me well... Living alone, I didn't want to do surgery due to incontinence potentials and just healing in that area with having to do all my own chores.  The Urologist claimed I'd get 15 years regardless and that seemed like enough at this point..

So praises to a gracious Lord for good results...

Do not follow where the path may lead.  Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.

Thanks, Gents... I just KNEW that would be a skeleton in my closet a long time ago when BPH set in prematurely... weren't disappointed, but grateful Numbers are down...hope they go down more in future tests, but an incredibly great start!

With all you being so faithful cheerleaders and prayer warriors, I wanted to keep ya'll posted! :)

Again, thanks gents!  I'd hoped the first one would show some marked improvement...(It did and I'm tickled) Like to see it drop below 1.0 and as Keith said, STAY THERE, but it will be whatever it's to be...

I appreciate the support and prayers--- As one of our own shared that his young daughter said about one of their siblings a # of years back, "God is the bestest doctor of all!"

Yep...That was little Katie Jones showing confidence and faith that God was taking care of her little brothers heart condition. Have not heard from Chip in a while...hope all is still well with him.   God Bless you Doc.
