Thanks for posting pics, Friend. Some beautiful woods around Twin Oaks and those guys definitely set up a great shoot. Looking forward to late April at Twin Oaks.     :campfire:   :archer2:

Friend -

It was great shooting with you Saturday.  It was my first time at Twin Oaks and it's truly a beautiful place.  Throw in the great weather we had with the awesome people, and it was perfect day.

Thank you Jeremie....the pleasure was all mine.

175 participants for the weekend....will likely be more than three as many at the Twin Oaks Spring classic.

awesome crowd for a March shoot.

They will get over 1000 visit the Classic easy. How many guys shoot is hard to predict?

Either way its the biggest bow scraping extravaganza on surface of planet.

Dont miss it!

I have not been to Twin Oaks yet and would like to make the classic this year , I see that space for campers is limited and I have a few questions my camper is a large 5th wheel and is 8.5ft wide 13.6ft high Tenn law is 8ft wide is this right?  should I just tent it ?

Pat B

Tom, go to Twinoaksbowhunters.com. In the section for the Tenn. Classic is Pappy's contact info. Give him a call and he can give you any info regarding campers. I know with the larger ones he usually has them park at the head of the driveway to make it easy to get in and out.

Thanks Pat , I talked to Pappy and he took care of me and I am looking forward to this shoot might even try to get there early, how many here will be going and  making a self bow?

Pat B

I'll be helping folks build bows all weekend, probably most of the week before, under the bow building shed.

Seems like a pretty short bow, Friend. What's your draw length?   :saywhat:

thinking you'll have a big group making selfbows. I would expect 35+.
Lots of fun and fellowship. With Matt, Greg, Anthony, Pat, and many more giving their mentorship. its like the best free selfbow tutorial that could be found in the World.  That experience alone is worth more than money could ever buy!

I'll be there!  This will be my first time so I really don't know what to expect.  Is there plenty of room to camp in a tent?  I live about 80 miles south so I am debating camping or just making a day trip out of it.

smag

Yes, be lots of tent canpers. Come early or you can drive up for day. There is a potluck meal sat nite for everyone there. Most guys camp for 2-3 days, some all week prior.
