Fishinglink

Went on my first bonafide rabbit hunt today. My friend's beagle was struggling but pushed 3 to us pretty early on. Finally connected on the third. Then we walked and did some brush kicking and managed to kick up a few more. Came home with 4, so it was a good day.

Found some turkey broadheads in my outdoors room...

Then put new line on a couple crappie rods...
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Whats "new like"? Some kind of fishing mojo?

Ahh! Typo, took me awhile to figure that one out. All the regional lingo slinging got me discombobulated

Found a few pieces of black ebony the other day too:)

Those lams look very clean.  I've been wanting to try cedar for a core.

Cedar isn't a real strong wood but makes a nice bow.

You just need to make the belly lam a little thicker to compensate for the cedar.

I cut those lams out of a cedar stave I had laying around the shop.

Looks like it's time to change the tablecloth on the workbench:)

Shop sure smells good:)

Like those colors. What cha been smokin?
Never used eastern red, sapwood is ok to use?

BMorv

So Roy you cut most of your lams from staves?  What do you do if the split is curvy?
