Life is too short to use marginal bow wood

Ben,
A nice gradual taper down to paper thin on the riser fades makes a world of difference.
Also, with the band form, always start banding at the center and work your way to the tips. This makes it easier to pull the lams into the ramps.

Lol. Kenny's making a ham sandwich and Roy's drifting towards the dark side.  :biglaugh:
And hell did freeze over. I spent three days working outside this week with the wind blowing straight off the North Pole. Damn near got frostbite yesterday.

Got back from what was basically 3 weeks of straight travel this afternoon and the mailman showed up while I turned around to sneeze it seems.

It was super well wrapped. Of course, if I could build a bow this nice, I'd wrap the snot of out it too.

Mr. 4Point makes a heck of a nice bow, and it even included a new stringer and something very special that I'll talk more about when I take some proper pictures in the sunlight this weekend. I'm going to go shoot a few arrows in house at about 2 yards just to try this out, but should be able to give it a real go tomorrow after work or Saturday at the least.

This bow is amazing Travis, thank you!

Darned tootin'! I'll get some up this weekend and hopefully Travis can do the same. Doesn't count until then...

I took a few shots inside and hoped my wife would be in an understanding mood. It was very smooth and light in the hand. Can't wait to get it outside.
