Brad- send it to Roy. He wont notice   :wavey:

Ben- I really like the colors also.  Walnut ??

Thanks Flem and Josh.  The test bow has ipe for the lams, with yellow heart for the riser.  Bow swap is osage and purple heart with wenge accents...Roy will be itching by the time he finishes reading this post

Great looking bows being built. I'm looking forward to the weekend. It's supposed to be above freezing, so I'm hoping to get some work done on my swap bow. Right after I go pick up my new wood lathe. 😁

That's gonna be a nice one Ben.

Glue up went well.  I hope my victim likes pastels!!!   Don't worry, I have a few ideas to make it look less like an Easter egg .  And the LED's in my shop make everything look different.  The colors are darker in person.

WOW! Thats  really beautiful. If your victim does not like pastels, I can find something to trade with him. How was bending the Bamboo around the handle?

skeaterbait

Definitely sweet. I am looking forward to seeing that strung up.

Thanks guys.  Bending the bamboo is tricky.  You have to make sure it's thin enough and the riser has smooth transitions.  This one was a little easier than others I've tried since the riser is 16"; so it's easier to make the transition.

I was cleaning up my desk at work this morning and came across this doodle from a month or two ago.  Can you guess what I think about when I'm at work?
