Roy has recently experienced some serious back pain.  I would like for y'all to remember him these next few weeks.  :wavey:

Prayers for Roy and I know how it can be painful.
Please God heal his back in Jesus name!

Indeed..back pain can put a big damper on anyone's enthusiasm...

Hopefully, it's not a serious condition.

I've had to do stretching on the floor daily just to function but had all the surgeries for it I wish to do at this juncture...

Good doc.  Good sense. And Good exercise program can often help if it's not something nasty.

Prayers its something he can overcome.

Lord, in your Mercy...

Thanks guys!

This morning I got an update from Roy...seems his problem is related more to his hip than directly his back....which is a GOOD thing...today sometime he was scheduled for more x-rays but it looks like the hip issue is the main cause.

will keep you posted on his condition as i get word...however your effectual and fervent prayers seem to have made a significant difference.

Thanks again!!!!   :archer:

Hips can be problematic too... I Have an ex marine, ex rodeo bull rider who's had both hips and both shoulders replaced...

AS I have aged, and learned all that can go wrong with our bones/joints, it's a wake up call that our entire bodies are a miracle possible only by the God who loves us.  The intricacy of how we're put together defies any other explanation...

Hope roy gets good care and better news!

Oh I know back pain all to well.  Have been living with it for over 39 years.  Have 2 herniated discs.   For me the best thing is Massage, stretching some Physio and drugs.

Prayers from here. sounds like the time in the shop is going good      :clapper:

Guys, thanks for the prayers and kind words.

It's been a rough 2 weeks, hardly able to walk or sleep.

Seen a specialist last Friday and things are looking better.

I start PT this thursday.

Thanks again.

Roy

Doc Nock

PT helped me! I hope it helps you, but then I'm told (and believe) doing your home program they should teach you, religiously, goes a long way!

One can't seem to avoid pain as one ages, but we may be able to keep it manageable so we can function...

I truly hope Roy is feeling better. Back pain, shoulder issues, and hip problems can certainly put a damper on your ability to enjoy archery. Prayers that his back pain will ease up are offered.

Roy is duin better but not outta the woods yet...   :wavey:

Doc Nock

Better is better'n NOT doing better...

In my limited experience, once one has low back issues, they'll be with you, but hopefully (prayerfully) Roy can get to the point where it's manageable and he's able to function!
