So if I can do that in 3 minutes with a coping saw and without a good straight edge, I guess I was working myself up for no reason.  Gonna try it this weekend with proper tools and make sure my glue lines are good. Then I'll decide from there. Need to stop making this so damn hard. If it makes a difference I'm not cutting in the shelf, it'll be a shoot around handle.

You want to make sure both boards are the exact same width/thickness.

Fishinglink

Those are my cuts just weren't good. It was just a quick attempt by me.

Yep and a little trick is to tape or clamp the 2 lams together and you only have to cut once.  And you get a perfect fit.
But Roy doesn't do it that way, so I'm sure I'm gonna get scolded

Very interesting way of laying up a handle, looks good.

Roy from Pa

Ben, I tried that before and didn't like it.

Suppose I should try again.

Flem what are you doing?

Flem

"Flem what are you doing?"

Sorry, just being a trouble maker. Winter is starting to make me crazy. No time or energy for Bow work :help:

Buemaker

Getting closer, posting a few pics.
