Well crap. I thought I was getting close to spraying this one. Looking at my notes I need to loose about 5 lbs I can narrow some and some light trapping. Should do it.

all right guys I need help. I cant decide what to build. you might want to input since it might  just be your bow. T/D longbow, one piece longbow, selfbow, bamboo backed bow or short D/R longbow ala Kenny design?

Ditto what Bvas said. Don't think too hard on it. I'm guessing your victim will be happy with whatever your inspired to make.

Tim, for me I'd like to try shooting one of those ala Kenny designs. In fact I've been thinking of trying to build one for my victim but not sure if he's that type of guy and hope he answers your post as well.

Guess my top picks out of those would be a takedown longbow or one of Kenny's design short longbows.

I am pretty open to whatever. I have not shortage of selfbows or glass bows so one more either way will still look good on the wall. And as stated for Mike, 5 lbs over my specs won't hurt a thing.

That looks awesome Mike... I'll take anything in any weight above 50 lbs.  I like them all..  I really do...

I spliced my lams last night.  The 1st one looked great, then I flipped it over....I spliced the tapered end to the butt end....oh man, I hope this doesn't set the stage for the rest of the build...
