My swap bow is on hold for a while.

Been fighting a sore lower back the past 2 weeks from lifting several 50 pound bags of corn for the deer, and at 1AM this morning it woke me up.

Was in so much pain and I couldn't even stand up.

Comes from falling off a roof 15 years ago breaking my back.

Went to emergency room at 4:30 this morning to get things checked out.

X Rays came back negative.

Got a couple shots in the thigh and some steroid pills there.

More pills to treat at home.

If problem persists, then it will be MRI time.

Getting old sucks!

Dang Roy, you may have to cut the deer back on the rations man!

Hope you heal up and get pain free!

Take your time, rest up and get better old man.

Heck, it just gives the rest of us a chance to catch up.

I feel your pain Roy. Back problems are the worst. I've got a herniated disc and lumbar bone spurs on L2.
They spank me whenever I do the twist. Doc's want to cut me up, been putting it off for 20yrs, so far.

Nothing was as bad as when I broke my back and severed my heel bone at the same time.

Off work 4 months, in a wheelchair for 2 months, then a walker for a month, then crutches another month.

I'm not one to sit around and that crap killed me.

Flem, the wife has had 3 back surgerys.

2 times on lower back and then a plate and 4 screws in her neck.

I always tell her she has a couple loose screws:)

Well Roy get healed quick. Hope you dont need the MRI. For me being claustrophobic I got to be out when they do it. They tell me smarty pants guys heal pretty quick.
