Some lams that had a big crook to them and couldn't sell so ground them thin and they will bend sideways...

So that way you can shoot around corners.
Skeater who?

Roy most times color all the way thru. I am seeing the black is not the best color for maple. I have a piece now soaking that is a different maple. It soake up blue really nice all thru. Just gonna let soak about a week and see.

Cool.
How long after soaking till it's dry enough for a bow?

Crooked Stic

When you get it out of the soak and drain it off it is wrapped in heavy duty foil and cured 175 degrees for four hours let it cool and its ready. It is acrylic resin You put activator in the resin before doing the vac on it. Just checked the piece that is soaking overnite  to now a piece 2x3 3/4x19 has soaked down about 3 in. in a 4 in tube so more than 2 cups so far.I weighed this piece before and will weigh again after curing.
