Watch out now...  Ol' Bessy,'s got a temper...  She's contemplating on coming up there and tillering one of your bows for you, and it aint gonna be pretty...

Roy from Pa

I understand that Shreddy, ole bessy hasn't done your bows any favors.

It's looking like you guys have been busy. I had my whole day planned out but didn't make any of it. Busted butt yesterday building a limb and a riser for a new bow. Had planned on building the other limb today and bolting them on tomorrow. But instead was up all night with the flu. It really put a damper on bow building.

Buemaker

Roy from Pa

Nice Mike, whad ya put on it?

9 here and windy....

Buemaker

Bloodwood.  :banghead: pieces 2x3 that have been drying in my heated shop for ten years. When I cut them up and plane and joint them in 2x1 sizes they bend and twist. Still tension in the wood after so many years. :banghead:

Crooked Stic

Roy that is gloss Buff hide from Jim. It will get the 320 grit then one wet coat and a few matte coats of Krystal dull. top coats.
High on Archery.

Crooked Stic

Bue I have found bloodwood to be fairly stable.

Roy from Pa

Ok Mike.

Bue I cut a 2 x 2 piece of maple last week that has been in my dry shop for 6 years.

As I was cutting it, water was running out the end.

Craziest thing I ever seen.
