All ya'll have told me this before but I can't find it...

I have a 31" draw length (or so, depends on the grip style of the bow). Someone provided me with a formula for estimating proper (preferred?) length for a recurve and also a long bow. As I start putting materials together for my Bow Swap bow, its just as cheap to order materials for a second bow at the same time. So, well...  there ya go.

In a moment of decision the best thing you can do is the right thing. The worst thing you can do is nothing.

It kind of depends on the bow type also, my forward handle 60" will go to 32"  but my D/R 60" won't make that...

Check Black Widow's site, I think they have a chart on there...

I also have a 31" draw I dont know what is optimal but I have built one of Kennys 64" D/R that is my go to hunting bow & built 60" & exspermental 64" FHLB none of them stack at my draw , the 64" D/R is my most accurate bow, I also have a 64" BW recurve I have hunted with for 25 yrs but prefer my 64" D/R for its quietness over the BW !
If you fear failure, you will never try ! But never except it!!

It really is in the bow  design.

I thought I saw somewhere it was twice draw length minus... some amount.
