Might not get any dry weather here in the east if last year is an indication but it ain't a Classic without a little(or a lot) of rain.

The year, l went, l woke up by a creek that you could step across the night before. It had turned into a big creek. Still had a great time. Pat helped my boy with his bow. We shot the corse in the rain. My boy had to use his phone to keep score as the score cards had turned into pulp. He shot great and won the shoot for the people that made bows there. Going to go this year if possible. Don

Don, I'm always pleased to help, especially the young folks, passing it on to our future.
The Classic is a great place to bring your kids. Lots of kids to play with and lots of parents to keep an eye out for them and a great place to learn to build a selfbow whether you are 6 or 60. There are quite a few excellent bowyers on hand to personally walk you through the process. And, the ranges are as good as it gets. The Twin Oaks team does a great job of setting up the courses with fair but realistic targets.

Pat B

Lots of Hotels on Exit 4 and 11 off I-24 which is 25-30min from the Shoot or less. If your coming, get a room off exit 11, just make a reservation early on. Off exit 4 or 11 of I-24 you have plenty places to dine, get supplies, etc. We get thru Jan and it's really just 3months away. So, not that far off folks.

Found my button, in my quiver, from the year l was there. It was 2009, the year Nashville flooded, l think. Didn't think it had been that long. Going to go this year if everything works out. Don
