I did get the limb form done today, so if Jameson be kind to me tonight I hope to grind a couple of tapers in the morning and get the first limb in the easy bake.

Stained and sealed a dozen spruce woodies yesterday.

Charcoal gray alcohol based aniline dye.

3 coats of gasket lacquer through a dipper.

Next time your wife does the laundry she will find out and you are in trouble. I know because I stole 20 pins.

Drove around a couple sections this morn , saw 56 deer and a yote. Slow morning...

Wow I can honestly say I haven't seen 56 deer in a drive in years. Not sure I've even seen that many in the last two months of hunting and driving. I must be doing something wrong. (Slow morn, )

Cut and sanded some vineers, roughed out a couple risers and located and cleaned up my sleds.

This was actually what I did Tuesday the 1st.  Just getting around to posting.  My new year resolution was to make more bows in 2019.  I only made two in 2018.  New biz has been kicking my tale.

How ya like using spruce.   I switched over to Hemlock; was using Cedar and Doug Fir before and there is no looking back I think Hemlock rules.  I  get straighter shafts and half of the 28 I made close to same spine and they dont break as easy.

Got the shafts from fujimo and they are really awesome.
