You will enjoy it, I wear mine often, in some pretty ugly conditions.

X2!  I love my timber grey anorak!  It's probably the best garment I have, and that grey just blends in with the north woods.  And you cannot beat the price.

its December and I wore mine today in Alaska. It is a great piece of clothing and at a very reasonable price. Great people to deal with. Additionally, most of their patterns blend in beautifully with the woods/tundra/alpine cliffs.

Everyone raves about how warm these are.  Out of curiosity how warm are they? All day sit in -20 with just a sweater on warm?  Of course I'd be wearing pants and a smile too...

They work exactly as a single layer of wool should. I wear them for about 90% of my cold weather hunting...no, I have never done an all day sit at -20.

The two coldest things I do are sitting in a tree-stand in late season, or ice fishing. For both, I wear wool Asbell bibs, good long underwear, a wool sweater, and an Anorak. Our temps range from single digits to high teens, + wind. I can stay out all day.

Northern Michigan late season fruit farm hunting in Asbell wool.  The trails really pop (see yellow circles) this time of year.

Are all you northern guys descended from Vikings? I would be layered up a lot heavier in your climate than guys are describing here. I swap from wool to Army M65 jacket with liner. Either way, I layer fairly heavily even in our Georgia winter. In my opinion, one of the best characteristics of Theresa's stuff is that is long enough that it doesn't ride up and expose the kidney area to the cold. I have 4 pieces of her stuff and really like it, even though, we don't have enough severe cold to need it that many days in the woods. But when I need it, I have it.

Haha I was thinking the same thing. I'm from jersey and it doesn't get crazy cold but I'm still layered up a ton in the 20s ANC teens

in the above picture I'm wearing one long underwear top and bottom of the Ulfrotte 400 wool long underwear, smart wool lightweight long underwear top under that, Gray Wolf Woolen wool bibs (got them before Asbell started producing bibs) and then my Pathfinder. This was a 25 degree morning with just a little wind and so not difficult conditions.  Wind in a tree stand in Northern Michigan December is a whole different animal. Absolutely necessary for wind block material or you will get cold. I have a lined wool vest for those days.
