Fine looking bows.

I've owned several custom bows in my lifetime. I have only used my own home made bows for the last 15 years. BUT if I was to buy a new bow Big Jim's bow or Zipper would be at the top of my list.

Those are some sweet looking bows. I don't own one of big jims bows but have shot some at cloverdale. Sweetest shooting longbow Ive ever shot will own one in future!

The big guy has expanded the word 'beauty'.

I'd be tempted to do quilted maple on the limbs. For the riser I'd go with quilted maple, myrtle burl, or buckeye burl. If you like a flare in the riser I would do black G10 and black horn overlays on the riser and tips. Otherwise I'd keep the riser clean looking and do a sheep horn or deer antler overlays.
