A couple of days ago my friend Larry Hanify, maker of the Abowyer broadheads called me with a invatation. Dr Ashby was coming into town for a visit at his place. And just wondered if I would like to meet him. Without a douth! I WOULD.

I must admit I really did not know alot about Dr Ashby really only had read his reports.
What a down to earth type of guy he is. And what a life of living his dream he has had. He shared some of his pictures with us from Alaska to Africa and from the land downunder. This one I took with my camera from his laptop. He said it was one of his favorites. This old bull wandered into his camp and posed with his block target!

In the first picture Larry is on the left Dr Ashby on the right. Could not have a get together with out casting a few HEAVY ARROWS over the chrony.
Larry is a design engineer, semi retired. It was my first visit to his shop for me. WOW he has a awesome shop set up. Grinders, sanders, welders,CNC machine.

We only got to visit 3 hours, with the places he has been and things done. 3 years would not be enough!
