What's your opinion on the differences between tru- flight and gateway feathers

bigbadjon

I have used Gateway, True Flight, and Bear Paw pretty extensively. My favorite is still Trueflight because they have the thinnest grinding on the quill. However they are the most expensive and you may only get one good fletch from an uncut feather. Beapaw compares well as their quill is still thin and the feather is higher quality for the full length. Gateway has the worst grinding of the three, but their color selection is the best of the three. If you are buying factory chopped feathers you will be getting the best part of the feather on every fletch. They are all good. The only better option is grinding your own.

Like they say Gateway is the best colors. I just grind the quills down a little.
