Anybody here able to shoot their trad bows with a beard? Don't have one to test at the moment, but my beards gotten fairly long and I'm not sure I could even shoot anymore the more I get to thinking about it  :dunno:

Have had a beard for 40 years.

Never ever bothered my shooting.

No issues here either, other than ice building up on it during this time of year lol

Sometimes nothing is a really cool hand.

Cyclic-Rivers

No issues for me although I have been mostly clean shaven for most of my shooting life.

Big Jim never seems to have an issue hitting where he aims, nor does Ron leclair

No problem here.  Course, this is California.  If my trad bow wants a beard, not much I can do about it.

That's the only way I shoot mine.  My beard isn't going anywhere.

I start growing mine on Labor Day and shave around New Years Day.  I like to be "clean" for the hot summer.

Makes no real difference to my anchor.  It never gets bushy enough, I guess.

BUT, I did add a thin camo neck gaiter this fall and, while it was great for warmth, REALLY messed up my anchor for some reason.  I'm glad I noticed playing around with a blunt.  So I stopped pulling it up to my nose.

My loose mesh 3/4 mask never messed me up??

No problem, I anchor at the corner of my mouth.

I've had a beard for almost 50 years and never had a problem shooting trad. I had to wear a bandanna over my beard when I shot wheels.

no problems for me either, but then again i keep mine fairly short

bigbadjon

A couple of times, the string has twisted up a whisker. It's not too bad chin side. An upper lip whisker smarts.

I shoot with a beard with no issues. I shot with and without a beard with no issues.

I have had a beard for over 50 years with no problems shooting.  I anchor with my thumb knuckle under my ear.
