I hunt out of a 10ft ladder stand which is just enough to get me over the mountain laurel. I don't have a great deal of cover once the leaves fall off. Any ideas on what I could use to provide some cover so I'm not skylighted so much? Thanks in advance.

There are some good Camo fabrics available just for that but upper body movement will get you busted quick. Good luck and post pics

If it's a stand you leave in place, you could cut a few pieces of PVC, make a modification to allow to strap to the tree and stuff them with branches.  You could also use branches from an artificial Christmas tree.  Can often find them cheap

Heard of one guy that suggested getting artificial Christmas tree branches and attaching them to the ladder. 

I only have 2 ladder stands set up, one in a pine, the other in an oak. The pine is pretty well concealed, but I thought the oak would stick out like a sore thumb. I spray painted both of the ladders with gray/black/green in an effort to create a shadow affect.

The oak stand worked really well. I know exactly where is, and I approach it from a crop field. I am always amazed how it blends in. It always takes me a minute to locate it, I can't see it at all further than 50yards.

I cut 2 Balsam Fir trees (probably most evergreens would work) and zip tie one to each vertical rail. Then get the hand pruners out and clip off any branches that will impede climbing up or down. Very natural look. Some pruned branches can be tied on if further cover needed.

If you're leaving the stand there the deer ain't gonna spook from it if it's not concealed below. It's where you are that would matter more. The rest is prob unecessary
