Okay, I'll see what I can do. I have a gizmo, had forgotten about it. :)

BMorv

Just saw this but I would have to agree, mid limbs bending a little too much, but not far off.
Life is too short to use marginal bow wood

Roy from Pa

Bue, I'll bet the gizmo says this.

Bending too much at both circles.

So scrape where the 4 lines are, but actually only where the gizmo marks the limbs..

10 scrapes and sand, then pull 30 times on tree and gizmo again.

Repeat till the gizmo lines quit showing up.

The last 8 inches of limbs should be straighter.

I did some adjusting and the gizmo runs the same all over.
The tiller is the same on both limbs at end of fades and at 13 and 14 inches from center so I leave it as it is.
I also mapped it at 20 inches draw and the limbs are dead alike which is rather seldom in an all wood bow. You usually only achieve that with a glass bow. With mapping I mean that you place the bow on a 20 inch long stick and lay it flat on a long paper on the floor, draw a pencil line along both limbs( in this case I used the belly) where there is a straight lamination. Then flip the bow over and If the lines corresponds the limbs are bending the same. The theory is that both limbs will slam home at the same time, reducing hand shock.I use this mostly when making glass bows.
If one limb had been stronger than the other i would have used that as up on the bow since arrow is not shot from center of the bow.
How do you think it bends now?

I dunno..

I guess it's ok..

If that's the best ya can do...

Looks real nice, Bue..

Your mapping equals the same results I get from equal limb timing and the pull rope coming straight down the line on the wall..

Stic, LOL..........

They are 8 feet long.

I got 4 of them off the big auction site for $84.00 delivered.

They are about 40% brighter than the 8 foot fluorescent lights were.

These are 6,500 K's.

Got the idea off Eric Krewson.

kennym

LEDs rock , I have 6 - 4500s in main shop and 3 in back. World of difference!
Stay sharp, Kenny.
