Shrew owners/shooters, or Ron LaClair, how close to the shelf does the top of your hand sit when shooting?

My current primary bow is a KimSha Mattawoman II, with a very slight locator grip.  I started putting my hand as close to the rest as possible, and I find I shoot best like this.

Obviously the Shrew is a deeper locator, but I have noticed not all locators are the same.  The Bear Grizzlys put my hand a good half inch below the shelf, but the Bear Kodiaks I have held comfortably put my hand right up under the shelf.

Where does the Shrew put your hand when held where it naturally sits (not forcing your hand up to the shelf)?

It sits closer to my hand than any other bow I have.  It sits close enough to my hand that I will probably start wearing a thin glove to protect my hand from the fletches when I shoot it.
