Just wondering how many use it.  Depends on the situation for me.
On the ground- I always wear it.
In a tree- it depends on the background etc.
most of the time I'm wearing it....and have baby wipes in the truck and jeep to clean up quick on the ride home.

I wear it every time because I can't stand face/head nets I also grow a beard starting in the beginning of September and shave in April.

I wear it every time.  I hate having to wear a mask.  Seems that I can't hear near as well out of it and it gets old having to adjust it.  I have some unscented wipes that clean it off really nice when I get done.

I prefer face paint to masks, but even with wipes it is difficult to remove. This season I started using burnt cork. It is so much easier to remove.

In a tree stand I don't wear anything but a grey/white beard. On the ground I'll use a face mask

Scrubbing it off is too much of a PIA.  Wearing a head net affects my shooting.  I don't wear anything on my face and still manage to kill deer.  Just sit still and move at the right time.

I used to, but do not now.

I either use a 3/4 mesh mask (below) or a tube .  I just got a fishing type UV tube that is light and in a camo pattern.

I have found that my wife's fancy facial scrubs, the kind with something gritty in it like oatmeal makes the stuff come right off.

Plus it makes me feel pretty :biglaugh:

Charred cork for years, good repurposing for Malbec corks.

I forget where I was....it seems like I was with Todd Smith, so it must have been Idaho, but we found ourselves on an impromptu stalk, and we were smearing mud all over our faces.

I use burnt cork often too. Anything to knock down the shine of a pale face.

I use spandoflage when I think I really need face camo .  Paint is too hard to get off and it looks too much like the guys on TV. 90% of the time I use nothing .

TIM B

I gotta get back to my roots and burn a few wine corks.  We used that as a kid cause it was free.  Some of the face paint comes off better than others.  The green flip open 3-color one w a mirror from Walmart I think comes off good w the wypes

I always use face paint, especially if I'm hunting from the ground. Anything to take the shine off my baby face! I generally use cold cream and and wipes to remove it. It may be a pain but I will put up with it to not have to wear a mask. I hate those things!

I use it.  I used to shoot with a mask years ago but prefer paint these days.  A lot of the newer paints don't dry your face out like the ones back in the day so way more options to choose from.

Roy from Pa

Last time I used a mask was when it came flying off on a shot at a doe at 10 yards.

String caught it and ripped it right off and sent the arrow under the doe.

Wasn't funny then but I can laugh now:)
