This hunt falls into the best kept secret category. The timing is great and the bucks have been getting bigger every year... lots better than that first year when I started hunting these farms.  I've got my own spots not far from Kenny now but I'll always long to hunt those two farms again. Get on it someone!!!

I didn't mention that Kenny has done a lot of work putting up stands in great spots. Two things you can count on... Kenny knows those farms in and out and he knows deer. All you have to do is pick a stand , climb up and hunt.

Thanks Charlie! There are 7 new weldshop built stands up and an extra that I haven't decided where to go with . These are a onepiece ladder built from square tubing with no ladder joints. I got tired of all the squeaks and groans when a person stood up or moved from the store ladders.

Several bucks seen already by the two hunters here now, one ear width eight with good tines but the hunter was in no hurry to take one first sit!

The price of lease is for all 4 hunters or 3 or 2 , you get the idea.   

Divide that up and you have a reasonable hunt with a sweet cabin available for about half of motel cost and it is a quarter mile from the one farm and a mile and a half from the other. Besides, you can pee off the porch there if you need to!

Wouldn't you know it, used all my vacation already!

What Kenny didn't mention was that even though he has stands, bring your own and hunt as you wish. The ground pounders do well here also...

I'm going to look into this Kenny half price and somebody joining me this could be a very cheap no-brainer.

If I had the vacation time left I'd do this as a pre hunt to the November trip!!

Kenny, if I wasn't dealing with not being able to draw a longbow or recurve right now with this broken wrist rehab and the fact that my 40th wedding anniversary is the 14th I'd be all over this one.
