Very cool pics Jim.  I would love to see some elk and bears!  What part of Montana you live?

I live in the Southwestern part of the state.It has been hot and dry so the water sources are starting to get some pictures.

Just curious, my nephew moved to Miles City about a year ago to work at the fish hatchery.

Older shot from '13, but I just joined recently and saw this great thread. This is only 3 seasons we've seen 4 cubs. Unfortunately in 2 weeks there were only 3 lil ones with mom.

The color shot is from the other day, the B/W is from last year.........same buck?  Waitin' on October...

Homey, ya got that right.  Never got a look at him last year hope I get to put eyes on him this year.  A nice State Forest bush buck.

Northern lights that's a big bear!

Tried to talk wife into getting a bear tag but she says she isn't taking a chance on  making one mad, asked her if I would  happen to smack one during our week of archery bear if she'd help track, says I'm on my own, been getting this guy  on my little clover plot that's way back in.
