Looking to buy a good electric tapering machine

I like my bench top belt sander with a disc on the side. You can make a simple jig for the 5 degree(point) and 11 degree(nock) tapers plus you can use it for other uses.

Can you take a picture of it? Text me it at 605-759-4209

What tapers do you want to do? I use a Tim's Taper Tool. I have it mounted on a 4"X36" belt/disc sander. I can do the 10" taper, the nock taper, and the point taper. I have been using it for 10-12 years now. I really like it. 3 Rivers has them as well as Amazon. I buy parallel shafts by the 100's and straighten them, taper the nock end, and do the 10" taper. Then I go through them and weigh and spine them then group them. You will lose 0-2 lbs. doing the 10" taper. I hope this helps you.

I guess I should have asked if you were making tapers for bow limbs, full or partial tapers for shafts of tapers for nocks and point ends of shafts?
