John;  Re the doe pix with the natural aiming point.  I think it's possible its was shot with an expandable broadhead on a very lightweight arrow.  Very little penetration. What else would have caused such a wound?

Never thought about it as a wound (although it is in the right place).

These deer roam on and off me so it is def possible.
